About me

At the helm of AurBina Sdn Bhd, a private design and construction company, are two good buddies. I, Hashim Abdul Rahim and my partner, Mr Wong Tong Wai both founded the company in 2010. We are currently based in Taman Seputih, Kuala Lumpur.

After graduating, I began my career career with a Japanese consulting firm and later moved on to a major construction company when I met Wong. From then onwards, we continued work together for almost 10 years where we were involved in a variety of projects around Malaysia, Southeast Asia and Japan.

I am a qualified architect by profession, and has undertaken design and building projects as far as the Middle East. Wong, on the other hand, is an experienced Quatity Surveyor who also runs AurBina’s construction arm.

Our company expertise:

a. We can design (buiding architecture, ID & landscape) whatever owner needs to suit his budget

b. We can advise regard to Technical, Structural, Design, Authority Requirement, Budget, Practicality, etc.

AurBina operates with a “Modern Practice Contractor” approach, which means my team works very closely with clients. They draw up plans and a working schedule that enable their clients to easily check in on their needs, monitor the project’s work scope and progress.

My services

The company provides renovation services that cover plumbing services, tiling installation, flooring installation, electrical wiring, and general contractor and handyman jobs.

Our Operation is as follows:

We operate with "Modern Practice Contractor":

a. Work with comprehensive BQ (bill of quantity); easy for both, owner & contrator to monitor their

scope work vs cost.

b. Work with Drawing Plan; easy for owner check his needs, cost & contractor's work scope.

c. Work with Construction Working Schedule; easy for owner monitor the works progress & payment

d. Work with written record/memo to avoid mis-understanding and dispute matters.

Our Services are as follows:

a. Building Construction:

1. Construct private building include 'Design & Built': Bungalow/ Small Factory/ Storage Building/ TNB Sub-station.

b. Renovation Works:

1. House renovation include: Terrace House/ Semi-D/ Bungalow/ Condo/ Shop & Office Lot/ etc.

2. ID renovation include: Terrace House/ Semi-D/ Bungalow/ Condo/ Shop & Office Lot/ etc

c. Design Proposal Advice:

1. Advice design & technical element to suit budget & practicality.

2. Prepare design sketches to suit owner needs

3. Prepare drawing plan and Local Authority Plan Submission

(All the above works, is part of construction job package)
