Sushi cakes offer a savoury option for those that prefer to not have a sweet cake. Sushi cakes actually offer a very balanced meal as it contains carbohydrates, vegetables and low-fat proteins in the form of raw fish. Just remember to include seaweed, avocado, cucumbers and fresh fish or seafood to keep the Sushi cake as healthy as possible.

3. Swedish Sandwich Cakes

Instead of a watermelon flavored cake, this is a cake made entirely out of a single piece of watermelon fruit. It’s a really healthy cake as a whole piece of watermelon is cut into a flat slab and covered in cream. Usually, crushed nuts and other sliced or small fruits are added as decoration and garnish. When served, this ‘cake’ is sliced in the usual manner and everyone consumes a piece of fruit that’s rich in vitamins and nutrients.
