Another sign to differentiate if it is a normal or heat cramp is that your body will feel cool and moist. At this point, your body is too hot and you should cool yourself down. Find a shaded area, drink lots of water but be sure to avoid any liquid with alcohol or caffeine – that’ll just make things worse!

During hot sunny days, your body will tend to sweat more. Thus, leading to the loss of water in your body. When you lose more water than you take in, your body doesn’t have enough fluids to carry out its normal bodily functions. So, be sure to consume as much water as you can during really hot days to avoid dehydration.
