6 Super Fun Activities For An Amazing Bridal Shower

Bridal showers are supposed to be heaps of fun, but we understand the stress behind planning one. It’s a chore looking up games and activities to get everyone engaged and entertained, and then there’s the dilemma about deciding on the theme, the food, the decorations, and so forth. Let’s take it one step at a time. First thing’s first – activities! Don’t crack your pretty little head worrying over the games, because the suggestions below are going to guarantee the bride and the guests a wonderful time!

How old is the bride?

Collect a dozen or so photographs of the bride, showing different ages in each photographs. You could also throw in some not-so-flattering ones for humour. Mix them up so they’re not in order and display them someplace convenient for everyone to stand and see. Give pencils and paper to everyone to guess the bride’s age at each photograph. A prize goes to the person who gets the most number of ages right!

Everyone loves cupcakes, right? Get a variety of cupcakes and ensure that each guest is blindfolded before the game begins. Have them guess the flavour. Whoever guesses the most flavours correctly wins.

3. Two truths & a lie

Have each guest think of two truthful stories about the bride and groom and one lie. After telling each story, the group gets to guess which isn’t true. Guess wrong and the group will be “punished.”

4. Forbidden ring

Provide each guest with a sheet of 2-5 forbidden words and hand out plastic rings. If someone catches someone saying a forbidden word, that person gets to take the ring. At the end of the game, the person with the most rings will get a prize.

5. Write my vows

Have the host write “I vow to…” and pass the sheet to the next guest. The player writes a line of the vow and, before passing, folds the paper so the next guest doesn’t see what the host wrote. Repeat until everyone gets a turn. The bride will have to read the vow out loud at the end of the game.
