27 October 2017 – save the date, guys. That’s the day when Stranger Things will return to Netflix with a new season. What happened to Eleven, and what is happening to Will Byers’ body? We hope we’ll get the answers in the next nine episodes.
And if you want to go the extra length to make sure you get the full experience in your binge-watching session, here are some ideas on how you can achieve that Stranger Things look at home:
1. Christmas lights
Just in time for the season too (maybe a little early)! The Christmas lights scene is probably the most important one in the whole series as that was how Joyce communicated with Will after he went missing. Set it up around your house and imagine every blink as messages from Upside Down.
2. Turkey sandwich
It’s the ultimate comfort food and binge-watching snack. Besides that, it’s one of the most featured food on Stranger Things after Eggo waffles.
3. A Barb t-shirt
4. Wooden flooring
Pretty much every house in the series has wooden flooring – some even have wood-panelled walls. So if you want to join the club, get those installed too.
5. Dungeons & Dragons
You might actually still have this in the storeroom. Go find it and set it on the table before the show starts! Who knows, you might even be able to guess the plot development with some clues from the game.
6. Floral bedsheets
Just like the ones in Nancy’s bedroom, don’t you think? If you’re having your Stranger Things watching party in the living room, consider floral couch slips too.
7. Neon house phones
Isn’t this just a classic? A neon phone is sure to bring out more 80s nostalgia while you breeze through all nine episodes of the second season.
We still have some time before Stranger Things season 2 premieres on Netflix. How about getting those Christmas lights installed right now? Let our friendly electricians know about it here on Kaodim, and we’ll send you their quotations and profiles for free!
